Indian Stock Market Today | Bank of Baroda trades higher on the bourses

Bank of Baroda is currently trading at Rs. 94.35, up by 1.30 points or 1.40% from its previous closing of Rs. 93.05 on the BSE.


The scrip opened at Rs. 94.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 94.70 and Rs. 93.65 respectively. So far 176086 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 143.60 on 28-May-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 89.10 on 30-Aug-2019.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 99.00 and Rs. 91.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 35793.80 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 69.23%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 22.20% and 8.57% respectively.

Ministry of Finance, Government of India has conveyed its decision to infuse capital of Rs 7,000 crore in Bank of Baroda. The Capital infusion will be by way of preferential allotment of equity shares (Special Securities / Bonds) of the Bank during the FY2019-20 as Government's investment in Bank.

Bank of Baroda is engaged in providing various services, such as personal banking, corporate banking, international banking, small and medium enterprise (SME) banking, rural banking, non-resident Indian (NRI) services and treasury services.
