Indian Stock Market today- HDFC Bank shines on registering around 22% growth in deposits in Q2FY20

HDFC Bank is currently trading at Rs. 1212.20, up by 23.25 points or 1.96% from its previous closing of Rs. 1188.95 on the BSE.


The scrip opened at Rs. 1205.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1219.45 and Rs. 1190.00 respectively. So far 294219 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1285.00 on 23-Sep-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 942.20 on 31-Oct-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1254.00 and Rs. 1185.30 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 661169.17 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 26.25%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 55.72% and 18.05% respectively.

HDFC Bank has registered around Rs 10,215 billion deposits as of September 30, 2019, a growth of around 22%, over to Rs 8,334 billion as of September 30, 2018. The bank’s advances aggregated to approximately Rs 8,970 billion as of September 30, 2019, as compared to Rs 7,508 billion as of September 30, 2018, a growth of around 19%. The Bank’s CASA ratio stood at around 39.2% as of September 30, 2019, as compared to 42.0% as of September 30, 2018, and 39.7% as of June 30, 2019.
