Wipro is currently trading at Rs. 238.90, up by 5.35 points or 2.29% from its previous closing of Rs. 233.55 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 234.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 238.20 and Rs. 232.70 respectively. So far 66186 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 301.55 on 14-Jun-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 220.50 on 25-Oct-2018.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 240.80 and Rs. 232.35 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 135881.49 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 73.83%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 15.10% and 8.77% respectively.
Wipro has completed the transaction under which it was to absorb certain employees of Vara Infotech as part of its $300 million (about Rs 2,100 crore) deal with ICICI Bank.
In September, Wipro had said it had secured a strategic seven-year engagement, valued at $300 million, from ICICI Bank to provide a comprehensive suite of services.
